what is the minimum percentage required for government jobs?

There are various jobs under government sector and the eligibility criteria also differ for each jobs. However most of the jobs under the government sector needs to qualify entrance examinations conducted by Union Public Service Commission, Staff Selection Commission, State Level Public Service Commission etc. Candidates must have the Degree in any domain. Graduates require a minimum of 55% marks to apply for central government jobs. Candidates belonging to reserved category need only 45% marks to be eligible. For bank exams, graduation is necessary to apply for officer post. A minimum of 60 % marks is required in 10th, 12th to apply for government jobs in any cadre.

1. You should have Degree of Bachelor.

2. If you are a final-year students, the final result of 8th semester and mark-sheets must be presented at the time of interview. 

3. minimum required number varies for different PSUs companies generally,60%-70% for general and 50%-60% for the SC/ST/OBC/PH. 

4. PSUs allows for maximum of two years gap ion between Degrees.
